Steve Vaile, Chairman at Mad Monkey, commented:

“Having worked with Mark previously, I am delighted that we have such a competent and professional advisory board member contributing to the success and continued growth of the company in new international markets. As Mad Monkey expands our global footprint and market-leading position in the Asian youth hospitality sector, Mark will advise us to ensure we are delivering the best returns to all of our stakeholders, including our shareholders, our communities, and the Mad Monkey team.”
Mark Harris said:
“The global hospitality industry is changing. A significant segment of travelers want to enjoy a more remote and nomadic lifestyle, embracing local interactions and social responsibility whilst still enjoying good service.
The Mad Monkey team has built a fiscally responsible business that has been successfully delivering on and refining these requirements for many years. It is now South East Asia’s leading operator in this space. Mad Monkey’s team have already proven they have the skills to identify and add new properties that generate a rapid ROI to their South East Asian portfolio. Furthermore, they have done it using very little external investment, whilst maintaining a profitable business.
I’m excited to be able to help the team tap into new opportunities and leverage them to consolidate and accelerate the growth of the business.”
