Phnom Penh Cheat Sheet
Everything you need to know about traveling Phnom Penh
Mad Monkey is centrally located in Phnom Penh’s BKK1 neighbourhood, a popular area full of cafés, restaurants, and bars.If you’re coming from the airport, there will be tuk-tuks and taxis waiting to the left when you exit the airport, and attendants in yellow uniforms can arrange one for you.
Drivers around Phnom Penh know our hostel, so say “Mad Monkey” and you should be good to go. If there’s any confusion, ask them to take you to Street 302 (“plow pie roy pee” in Khmer) in BKK1.
We’re between the cross-streets of Street 51 (aka Pasteur Street) and Street 57.
The prices for rides from the airport are around $9 for a tuk-tuk and $12 for a taxi.
Use PassApp or Grab for your convenience.
