Welcome to Mad Monkey Pai — a jewel of a hostel near the peaceful banks of the Pai River in Northern Thailand. Enjoy our effortlessly social atmosphere or get some much-needed relaxation in our beautiful gardens complimented with our natural plunge pool. Our high-standard, air-conditioned bungalow dorms provide our guests with super comfortable beds, power points, and reading lights by every bed and feature balconies overlooking the lush, green gardens below. They are also equipped with shared shower facilities with hot showers, and a towel and toiletries are provided for your convenience. Enjoy a drink (or three) at our epic bar: the perfect spot to meet other guests all day and all night. If you are in need of some solitary, you can instead sit on our quiet balcony that is surrounded by mountainous terrain, with the foliage below lovingly tended by our Mad Monkey staff. Outside, you can enjoy our natural spring pool or instead get your zen on with some yoga in our wide, tranquil garden. At Mad Monkey Pai, guests can enjoy cycling around the city or instead relax on our sublime property surrounded by Pai’s incredible landscaping. Our hostel is situated a few minutes away from many famous temples, including Wat Phra That Mae Yen (Temple on the Hill). If you are more of a foodie, then be sure to head downtown to Pai Walking Street and indulge in a variety of street food stalls and handicraft shops, with both Thai and international cuisine to indulge in for cheap. We are less than a 15-minute walk from downtown Pai, as well, making it easy to explore the city on foot. As with all Mad Monkey hostels, our mission is to do everything possible to make your stay one of the most memorable ones ever while also having a positive impact on the local community through our innovative and social projects and events.
