Calling all food and culture enthusiasts! Join us at Mad Monkey Kuta Lombok for an unforgettable Taste of Lombok adventure. Dive into the local culinary scene with a Lombok Cuisine Cooking class followed by a delightful lunch featuring authentic Lombok dishes. Explore the charm of the island with a village tour, where we'll learn about traditional coffee processing and enjoy a coffee tasting session. Visit the enchanting Sasak Sade Village and wrap up your day with a breathtaking sunset view at Merese Hills. It's a day packed with unique experiences and memories that will last a lifetime!

Need to know info:

Meet at the reception at 10:00 AM
Includes pick up and drop off at the hostel, lunch, coffee tasting, and entrance fee to the Sade Village
Bring sunscreen, a sarong or shirt to cover up, a water bottle, and your mates!
Fully refundable 24+ hours from start time or if cancelled by Mad Monkey

Itinerary:

10:00 AM : Meet at Mad Monkey reception for briefing. Once we're all set jump in the car as we get ready to leave Mad Monkey
11:00 AM : Arrive at the Pawon 21 Bonjeruk where tradtional music will welcome you
11:15 PM : Enjoy your welcome drink with a signature recipe whilst our team introduce the dishes and the ingredients we will cook
11:30 PM : Cooking class starts
1:00 PM : Enjoy lunch!
2:00 PM : Traditional coffee workshop begins by walking through the village and rice fields. We will stop at the rice field for a mini photo shoot. Season dependent, we will join the farmer to planting or harvesting the rice
2:30 PM : Arrive at the traditional coffee workshop to start coffee processing in the traditional way. Once we finish, you can taste the real Lombok coffee
3:30 PM : Get in the car and drive to the Sasak Sade Village
4:00 PM : Arrive at Sasak Sade Village and go on a village tour and try cloth weaving with tradtional tools
5:00 PM : Head to Merese Hill or Seger Hill to enjoy magnificent sunset (June - September)
6:30 PM : Head back to Mad Monkey
