Arguably Siem Reap’s most unique cafe, this coffee shop and restaurant duo is the only one in the city that offers visitors coin laundromat services. It is also only $1 for every ten minutes you dry your clothes.

Feel like you are making a difference with every cup of coffee you drink at Common Grounds. This restaurant and coffee shop duo opened on January 16, 2008, and has been impressing visitors with its social initiative, food, and drinks ever since.
It was originally opened by Julie Martinez as part of their parent organization, People for Care and Learning (PCL). Their goal is to provide otherwise disadvantaged people the opportunity to get on-the-job training. Some of the employees who started at Common Grounds with zero experience left to go work in some of the top hotels in the country, for example.
